FR-8010

FR-8010 is a flame retardant containing a high level of aromatic bromine, which can be used in a wide range of high-performance applications. It is widely used in styrenic polymers, engineering resins, wire & cable and elastomers. FR-8010 has strong thermal stability, making it particularly suitable for high temperature applications. It exhibits good UV resistance and is therefore suitable for use in applications requiring colour stability. Because of its thermal stability and low blooming characteristics, this flame retardant is suitable for use in systems where recycling is anticipated.

UV-81 is an ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) of the benzophenone class, imparting good light stability when used in combination with a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It shows good compatibility with polyolefins and plasticized PVC. UV-81 significantly improves the resistance of clear coatings to failures upon exposure to sunlight such as discoloration, cracking, loss of gloss and loss of adhesion.
